Vandens kelio kontrabandininkai dar nepamiršo

Kapčiamiesčio pasieniečiai vieną dieną Nemune perėmė kontrabandininkams skirtą „plaustą“ su baltarusiškomis cigaretėmis, kitą – su įkalčiais Nemuno pakrantėje sulaikė du rūkalų gabentojus.

Penktadienio rytą tarnybą vykdę VSAT Varėnos pasienio rinktinės Kapčiamiesčio pasienio užkardos pareigūnai Nemune ties Bugiedos kaimu (Lazdijų r.) pastebėjo užstrigusį nedidelį objektą. Įtarę, jog tai gali būti iš Baltarusijos atplaukęs „plaustas“ su cigaretėmis, pasieniečiai nuleido į vandenį tarnybinę valtį ir priplaukė arčiau. Spėjimas pasitvirtino. Ištraukus „plaustą“ į krantą, jis buvo nugabentas į užkardą ir apžiūrėtas. Peršviečiama polietileno plėvele gausiai apvyniotame plaukiančiame krovinyje buvo 990 pakelių cigarečių „NZ Gold“ su baltarusiškomis banderolėmis.

Kontrabandinės cigaretės kaip bešeimininkis turtas laikinai saugomos Kapčiamiesčio pasienio užkardoje.

O sekmadienio naktį tos pat užkardos pasieniečiai per vaizdo stebėjimo sistemą Nemuno pakrantėje ties Gerdašių kaimu (Druskininkų sav.) užfiksavo du pašalinius asmenis. Blokavę įvykio rajoną, VSAT pareigūnai pasienio ruože sulaikė 22-ejų ir 26-erių vietos gyventojus, tempiančius po didelį paketą, apvyniotą skaidria polietileno plėvele ir dėl patogumo aprūpintą savadarbėmis petnešomis.

Sulaikytuosius pasieniečiai palydėjo į Kapčiamiesčio pasienio užkardą ir surašė administracinio nusižengimo protokolus. Dėl pakartotinio akcizinių prekių gabenimo pažeidžiant nustatytą tvarką baltarusiškų rūkalų nešikų laukia 5 760–6 000 eurų baudos.

Po apklausos pasieniečiai kontrabandininkus paleido, prieš tai įteikę šaukimus po kelių dienų atvykti į Kapčiamiesčio pasienio užkardą, kai ten bus nagrinėjamos jų administracinės bylos.

Sulaikytos kontrabandinės cigaretės laikinai saugomos minėtoje pasienio užkardoje.

Pastaruoju metu kontrabandininkai vandens kelią, „plaustus“ cigaretėms iš Baltarusijos pristatyti renkasi itin retai. Dabar jų dėmesys sutelktas į oro „paštą“ – dronus ir meteorologinius balionus. Kapčiamiesčio pasieniečių radiniai Nemune ir jo pakrantėse gali reikšti, kad, artėjant žiemai, prisimintas ir bandomas senasis kontrabandos tiekimo būdas.
