Šiandien minime Adolfo Ramanausko Vanago 67-ąsias mirties metines. Ši asmenybė svarbi ne tik Lietuvai, bet ir mūsų kraštui. Laisvės Kovos Sąjūdžio Tarybos 1949 m. vasario 16 d. deklaracijos signataras, Lietuvos Laisvės Kovos Sąjūdžio ginkluotųjų pajėgų vadas, Lietuvos valstybės vadovas kovojęs su sovietų okupacija.

Pagerbiant Adolfo Ramanausko-Vanago atminimą šiandien savivaldybės vadovai kartu su Lazdijų Motiejaus Gustaičio gimnazijos jaunaisiais šauliais, vadovaujamiems Kęstučio Pilecko, ir Lazdijų krašto muziejaus kolektyvu aplankė A.
