VSAT vado raginimas išgirstas - į tarnybą grįžta buvę pareigūnai

Nepraėjus nė mėnesiui nuo viešo pasieniečių vado kreipimosi, valstybės sieną su Baltarusija saugančios VSAT Varėnos pasienio rinktinės padaliniuose jau šią savaitę pradeda dirbti pirmoji dešimtis buvusių vidaus tarnybos sistemos pareigūnų.
Liepos 20-ąją pasieniečių vadas generolas Rustamas Liubajevas kreipėsi į buvusius VSAT ir kitus vidaus tarnybos sistemos pareigūnus siekiant efektyviau suvaldyti neteisėtų migrantų antplūdį iš Baltarusijos. 
Buvusiems pareigūnams pasiūlyta laikinai įsidarbinti VSAT darbuotojais pagal darbo sutartį valstybės sieną su Baltarusija saugančiose Vilniaus, Varėnos pasienio rinktinių užkardose bei Užsieniečių registracijos centre (URC) Pabradėje.
Po šio raginimo į tarnybos Personalo valdybą kreipėsi pusantro šimto buvusių pareigūnų.
Po privalomų patikrinimų ir užbaigus reikiamus formalumus į darbą VSAT Varėnos pasienio rinktinės  Aleksandro Barausko, Druskininkų, Kabelių ir Kapčiamiesčio pasienio užkardų pareigūnų gretas papildė pirmasis 14 darbuotojų būrys.  
Nauji kolektyvo nariai lankėsi Varėnos pasienio rinktinėje, kur juos pasveikinęs rinktinės vadas Virgilijus Raugalė pristatė šių dienų ypatingą situaciją Lietuvos pasienyje su Baltarusija ir  dėkojo  už jų  ryžtą sugrįžti į VSAT.
Po  trumpų mokymų šie buvę pareigūnai pradėjo dirbti budėtojų dalyse, vykdyti sienos kontrolės sistemų vaizdo operatorių, logistikos bei transportavimo funkcijas. Tokias užduotis anksčiau atlikę statutiniai VSAT pareigūnai skiriami patruliuoti bei reaguoti į įvykius prie sienos.
