Merė viena pirmųjų išbandė atnaujintą pliažą (nuotr. galerija)

Dar pavasarį pradėti darbai pasiekė finišą – poilsiautojus pasitinka atnaujintas pliažas prie Birutos tvenkinio Šeštokų seniūnijoje, praneša Lazdijų rajono savivaldybės administracija.

Vakar savivaldybės vadovai, Senųjų Šeštokų bendruomenė ir gausus būrys kraštiečių davė startą sėkmingai įvykdytam dalyvaujamojo biudžeto projektui bei paminėjo Lietuvos Respublikos įstojimo 20-metį į ES ir NATO.

Renginyje dalyvavusi savivaldybės merė Ausma Miškinienė, kaip teigiama savivaldybės pranešime, dėkojo savivaldybės komandai ir bendruomenei už projekto įgyvendinimą ir akcentavo, kad tai svarbu visiems – čia gyvenantiems, atvykstantiems, sugrįžtantiems.

Projekto metu buvo atnaujinta poilsiavietė ir įvesta infrastruktūra: išpjautos pakrantės nendrės, krūmai, privežta smėlio, jis išlygintas, padarant tinkamą prieigą prie vandens. Įrengta automobilių stovėjimo aikštelė, pastatytos 2 pavėsinės su suoliukais, persirengimo kabina, įrengta laužavietė, pastatytas biotualetas.

Senųjų Šeštokų bendruomenės pirmininkas Rimas Jarmala dėkojo Lazdijų rajono savivaldybės komandai, bendruomenei, kad visi sutelkė jėgas dėl projekto įgyvendinimo ir tiki, kad tai taps traukos centru.

Renginio metu susirinkusiųjų laukė kinologų pasirodymas, edukacija „Kvapų mozaika“, sportinės estafetės, loterija, kurioje išrinktas laimėtojas gavo mobilaus kubilo paslaugas visai parai, maudynės naujai įrengtame pliaže, o savo muzika džiugino Šeštokų kapela „Griežlė“ ir Lazdijų neįgaliųjų draugijos ansamblis „Atjauta“.
