29 šalies savivaldybės apdovanotos už nepriekaištingą demokratinį valdymą

Vidaus reikalų ministrė Agnė Bilotaitė ir Europos Tarybos atstovė Claudia Luciani ketvirtadienį Vilniuje vykusios tarptautinės konferencijos metu Europos Tarybos ženklu už nepriekaištingą demokratinį valdymą (ELoGE) apdovanojo 29 Lietuvos savivaldybes.

„Sudėtingame saugumo kontekste demokratijų stiprinimas yra Lietuvos ir viso regiono prioritetas. Šiandienos iššūkius įveikti gali tik demokratiškai stipri ir atspari visuomenė. Todėl džiaugiuosi, jog Lietuvoje vis daugiau savivaldybių siekia įgyvendinti gerojo demokratinio valdymo principus“, – apdovanojimų ceremonijoje sakė A. Bilotaitė.

Šiemet vertinime dalyvavo 39 šalies savivaldybės. Pirmajame vertinime 2020 metais dalyvavo 35 savivaldybės, o apdovanota – 14. Šiemet dvylika gerojo demokratinio valdymo principų atitinkančių savivaldybių – dvigubai daugiau.

Anot Vidaus reikalų ministerijos (VRM), už nepriekaištingą demokratinį valdymą šiemet apdovanotos Akmenės rajono, Alytaus miesto, Birštono, Biržų rajono, Druskininkų, Elektrėnų, Jonavos rajono, Joniškio rajono, Kaišiadorių rajono, Kalvarijos, Kauno miesto, Kėdainių rajono, Klaipėdos rajono, Lazdijų rajono, Mažeikių rajono, Palangos, Panevėžio, Panevėžio rajono, Prienų rajono, Skuodo rajono, Šiaulių, Šilalės rajono, Švenčionių rajono, Tauragės rajono, Trakų rajono, Vilkaviškio rajono, Vilniaus, Vilniaus rajono, Visagino savivaldybės.

Kitas vertinimas numatomas 2026-aisiais.
