Seirijiškiai netylės: paštą išsaugojome per karus, o dabartinė valdžia ant mūsų nusispjovė

„Iš pradžių gyventojams kėlę nerimą pokyčiai išėjo į naudą, nes dabar ne žmogus eina į paštą, bet prireikus paštas atkeliauja pas žmogų", - yra sakęs Lietuvos pašto atstovas J. Sadauskas.

Prieš faktą – Seirijų pašto skyriaus uždarymą – pastatyti Lazdijų rajono savivaldybės gyventojai sako nesutinkantys su tokiu sprendimu ir darysiantys viską, kad mylima ir reikalinga paslaugų įstaiga miestelyje išliktų.

Seirijiškiai šiomis dienomis renka parašus po kreipimusi į Lietuvos Respublikos Seimo Valstybės valdymo ir reformų komiteto narius, susisiekimo ministrą Marių Skuodį ir Lietuvos pašto vadovę Astą Sungailienę, prašydami iš naujo persvarstyti įmonės sprendimą uždaryti pašto skyrių Seirijų miestelyje. 

Seirijų pašto skyrių bendrovės valdžia uždaro nuo šių metų liepos 26 dienos. Darbo neteks keturi čia dirbę asmenys. 

Išlikusiuose archyviniuose dokumentuose, kuriais remiasi knygos apie Seirijų kraštą „Seirijų praeitis ir dabartis“ autorė Lionė Lapinskienė, informacija apie Seirijų miestelyje veikusį paštą randama jau 1870 metais. 

Plačiau - V. Danauskienė naujausioje ,,Lazdijų žvaigždėje" (2022-07-15).
