A. Klėjus: „Kai ėjome į rinkimus, mūsų vienas iš svarbiausių tikslų buvo, kad daugiau taip nebūtų, kaip buvo prie A. Margelio: nori gauti darbą, tai turi pakalbėti su meru. Kadencijos pradžioje jau atrodė, kad yra kitaip... Bet dabar, kai panagrinėji, kas tuos konkursus laimi, tai matosi, kad „valstiečio“ dukra, marti, dėdė, geriausia draugė. Dėl to yra didžiausias rajono žmonių nusivylimas.“
 

Po Lazdijų rajono savivaldybės mero pavaduotojo Audriaus Klėjaus atsistatydinimo Tėvynės sąjungos-Lietuvos krikščionių demokratų atstovai savivaldybės taryboje atvirai prakalbo apie merės Ausmos Miškinienės vienvaldystę ir kadrų politiką, ne ką tesiskiriančią nuo Artūro Margelio laikų.

Rinkėjai suteikė pasitikėjimo mandatą penkiems TS-LKD atstovams Lazdijų rajono savivaldybės taryboje: Audriui Klėjui, Romui Leščinskui, Daivai Barkauskienei, Janinai Ražukienei ir Jūratei Juodzevičienei. Jiems visiems susirinkus pasikalbėti apie dabar jau subyrėjusios rajono valdančiosios koalicijos darbo užkulisius, santykius su „valstiečiais“ ir nuotaikas, pasitraukus į opoziciją, A. Klėjus sutiko apibendrinti išsakytas mintis ir pasidalinti savo įžvalgomis apie Lazdijų politikos aktualijas.
