„Lazdijų reklamoje". Lazdijų kraštas vos neprarado maestro: „Buvau išėjęs į kepyklą“

R. Mazėtis (kairėje) muzikuoja virš 60 metų – kūriko darbas duonos kepykloje jam netiko.

Kiekvieno žmogaus gyvenimas vertas knygos. Toks – ir visų mylimo muzikanto Romuko (taip jį vadina pažįstami). Tiesa, kol kas knyga neparašyta, tačiau įprasminant kultūros kelyje ryškius pėdsakus paliekančius žmones Kultūros delnų alėja šalia Lazdijų kultūros centro (LKC) šiemet papildyta dar vienu įspaudu, kurį paliko ilgametis meno vadovas, nepakartojamai talentingas muzikantas ir atsidavęs kultūrai žmogus – Romas Mazėtis.

Laisvės angelas pas R. Mazėtį atskrido prieš 10 metų. Maestro dėka Lazdijų kultūros centras turi garbę būti nematerialaus kultūros paveldo – dzūkų smuikavimo tradicijos puoselėtojais. 

Kalbuosi su Romu per pačias Užgavėnių linksmybes Rudaminoje, kur tądien, kaip ir dera muzikantui, Romas apsuptas gražuolių čigonių, mylimas pažįstamų – nors žodžiu persimesti su kiekvienu būtinai reikia. „Ir žmona norėjo kartu važiuoti, bet darbo namie yra. Kažkuriam reikia namų raktu būti“, – prasitaria pridurdamas, kad kartais ir su žmona padainuoti išeina.
