Daliai Kapčiamiesčio gyventojų ir toliau reiškiant pasipiktinimą dėl planų Lazdijų rajone steigti brigados dydžio poligoną, „Nemuno aušros“ pirmininkas Remigijus Žemaitaitis žada šią savaitę susitikti su vietos bendruomene. Politikas teigia, jog sieks išgirsti nerimaujančių savivaldybės gyventojų poziciją.

„Aš pats važiuosiu šią savaitę, turiu susitikimą su bendruomene. Pamėginsiu įsiklausyti į žmonių poziciją – kaip buvo kalbamasi, ar buvo kalbamasi dėl kompensacijos mechanizmo“, – Eltai pirmadienį teigė parlamentaras.

„Mano pagrindinė žinia bus susirinkti informaciją iš žmonių (…). Parodysiu partijos mokomojoje medžiagoje, kaip neturėtų bendrauti žmonės, kurie nori kažką su žmonėmis susitarti“, – tęsė jis.

Parlamentaras kritikuoja penktadienį įvykusį Krašto apsaugos ministerijos (KAM) bei kariuomenės susitikimą su bendruomene. Anot R. Žemaitaičio, užuot atsakę į gyventojams iškilusius klausimus dėl planuojamo steigti poligono, kariuomenės atstovai susirinkusius žmones žemino dėl kitokios jų pozicijos.

„Aš turėjau progą peržiūrėti visus vaizdo įrašus, tai tokios nepagarbos ir tokio pažeminimo, kokį patyrė žmonės – seniai nemačiau (…). Jeigu mes čia toliau taip važiuosime, tai, matyt, galutinai visuomenę ir valstybę suskaldysime. Aš rekomenduočiau žmonėms, kurie nori sutarti su žmonėmis arba nori kažkokį pasiekti rezultatą – pirmiausia galvoti, ką kalba“, – teigė R. Žemaitaitis.

„O ponui (Aleksandrui – ELTA) Matoniui ir dar kai kuriems atstovams siūlyčiau jau iš darbo keliauti (…). Nei į vieną klausimą nebuvo atsakyta, kodėl šiandien reikalingas toks poligonas, kodėl Lietuvoje yra kiti poligonai, kodėl ten neplečiama, kas trukdo tą dalyką padaryti. Kitas dalykas – nekalbama apie finansus, žmonės neinformuojami, kaip bus statomas poligonas, iš kokių pinigų“, – tikino jis.

Kaip skelbta, penktadienį Krašto apsaugos ministerijos (KAM) ir Lietuvos kariuomenės atstovai Kapčiamiestyje susitiko su valstybės sprendimais abejojančiais vietos gyventojais. Su jais buvo aptarti institucijų planai regione steigti poligoną.

Po susitikimo, Kapčiamiesčio bendruomenės pirmininkė Raminta Karauskienė teigė, kad jo metu vis tik nebuvo atsakyta į gyventojams kilusius klausimus.

Pats R. Žemaitaitis praėjusią savaitę teigė, jog jo nuomone dar vienas poligonas šalyje išvis nėra reikalingas.

Tuo metu krašto apsaugos ministras Robertas Kaunas tikino susitiksiantis su koalicijos partneriais aptarti situaciją ir atsakyti į visus jų keliamus klausimus.

ELTA primena, kad pernai gruodį Valstybės gynimo taryba (VGT) priėmė sprendimą steigti brigados dydžio Kapčiamiesčio poligoną Lazdijų savivaldybėje.

Be to, nuspręsta, kad Tauragėje esančio poligono plotas bus dvigubai didinamas, išplečiant jo teritoriją į Jurbarko savivaldybę.

Spalį KAM su Lietuvos savivaldybių asociacija (LSA) pasirašė bendradarbiavimo susitarimą, dėl naudų paketo savivaldybėms, kurių teritorijoje jau yra arba ateityje bus įsteigti kariniai poligonai.

Brigados dydžio poligoną norima įsteigti siekiant atliepti kariuomenės modernizaciją, augantį šauktinių skaičių, vystomą nacionalinę diviziją ir didėjančias sąjungininkų pajėgas. Apie naujojo poligono poreikį dar kovo pradžioje užsiminė kariuomenės vadas Raimundas Vaikšnoras, kuris teigė, kad tinkamiausia vieta būtų Pietų Lietuva.
